Please remember that your furniture has just been freshly refurbished, it can take 21-30 days to fully cure (basically this means to set). Don't worry, your furniture can be used lightly, go ahead, set it up and put it to use but just be soft and gentle!
Always use coasters and placemats on table tops, listen to mum! Coasters aren't old fashioned, they're furniture savers!
In particular with dining tables, although it applies to all furniture, be sure to use a proper heat resistant under mat and placemats, when placing hot dishes on top (for example, pots, pans, oven dishes, dinner plates, etc). Please note that a tablecloth is not enough to prevent heat damage. It may leave white marks that can only be fixed by stripping back and re-staining or painting.
And remember, chairs and tables are not made to be pushed together hard or touch... even factory produced pieces are not made to withstand it. Try and get in the habit of soft and slow and never touching! Train the kids up too 😉
For any super heavy decor items, we recommend that you consider using felt backing to ensure the surface isn't scratched or dented over time.

When cleaning, use a lint free cloth and if need be, a little warm water. Please keep harsh cleaning chemicals, sprays and oils away, even if they say they're safe and natural.
If any water spills occur, make sure to wipe them up immediately to avoid long term damage.
